Double distilled water for laboratory use

The double distilled water for laboratory use by WaterLab is a reverse osmosis product with extremely low conductivity. It is suitable for filling purposes for laboratory analyzers (Abbott, Beckman Coulter, BioSystems, Konelab, Mindray, Roche, Siemens, etc.), as well as for buffering, and reagent reconstitution and dilution. It can also be used for the disinfection of dental instruments, laser hair removal systems, and a wide range of specific applications.

Double distilled water for laboratory use – Conductivity

The double distilled water for lab use is a sterile product with conductivity lower than 1 μS/cm. It has been tested for the following chemical parametres: Calcium, Magnesium, Chlorides, Nitrate and Total Silicate Ions (SiO2).

Double distilled water – Method of production

The starting material for the production of Double Distilled Water for lab use is water from the Attica supply system. Due to its high salinity and solid suspensions, the network water first goes through an automatic quartz filter and softener, prior to entering the reverse osmosis system for the final treatment. Before packaging, the product passes through a UV lamp so as to be sterilized.

Each batch features a separate LOT number for proper tracking of the products, and is accompanied by an analysis certificate showcasing the product’s electrical conductivity and quantitative analysis of the chemical parameters.
